Love For The Land

Commissioned To: Kansas

The lifestyle he is living
Few men now understand
As he coaxes a living
From the land

His roots like his crops are deep
In that prairie soil
Planted by his ancestors
Through blood and sweat and toil

Honest men of character
Who stood when called to stand
Driven by hard work and faith
And a love for the land
