Change is a natural outcome of life. Each and all will face change. At times it comes like a gently flowing stream, slowly and somewhat unnoticed at the time and willing or unwillingly we are compelled to yield to it’s flow. At other times change comes as a sudden force and we are left to struggle with it’s consequences. Such it is with Buffalo Dreams. The top hat signifies the politician’s attempt to appease and influence the Native Americans with gifts while the hole in the peace metal conveys the government’s empty promises. The missing button on the discarded army jacket tells of the poverty imposed by the reservation system. A way of life may be altered or destroyed but dreams will only die if the dreams are
never dreamed. Buffalo Dreams.
Buffalo Dreams
The past is past
We are told
Gone forever
The days of old
But not forgotten
So it seems
Dreamed by Dreamers
Dreaming Dreams
